ABOUT THE TEMPLATE

This template is an interactive checklist to help you review your copy for better user experience (UX). It’s a tool you can use to give each of your content piece a “score” which allows you to see if you really did take the time to consider all UX elements.

Here are a few important things to know about this tool:

• This template doesn’t and can’t change the copy for you. You’re the writer or the editor. The tool simply points you towards which areas need improvement.
• Some of the elements that this templates evaluates (like number of characters and literacy level) may require you to use a different tool to get accurate data.
• If you’re not sure what each of the elements are about, my UX-Ify Your Copy workshop, or my book UX Writing Basics might help you clarify things. You can purchase these as upgrades to the template and save a bit of money that way.
